Single-user mode binds one locker to one named user; it's a 1:1 assignment managed in the app. What happens when an employee leaves? Revoke their access in the app. The hardware isn't touched and the locker can be reassigned immediately — no re-keying. What if someone's phone battery dies? You can authorize a backup user (e.g. a supervisor or facilities admin) for any locker, so there's always a second phone able to open it. Do these work for school lockers? For faculty, staff, and administrative lockers, yes. For student 1:1 device lockers — where the phone is stored inside — no; those need a card-based or powered system. Do the locks need batteries or wiring? No to both. The phone powers the lock over NFC during the unlock; the lock needs no wiring. How many lockers can I start with?
